What is an Open House?

Open Houses are an opportunity to hear from experienced Golden Seeds members about our organization, our mission, and some of the basics of membership. These meetings give you a chance to learn about the membership journey, next steps, and ask questions.

What Happens at an Open House?

  • A one-hour virtual meeting hosted by experienced Golden Seeds members
  • A 30-minute presentation from two Golden Seeds members, providing prospective members with introductory information on Golden Seeds and Golden Seeds membership, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session
  • No-pressure introduction to Golden Seeds as an organization and a chance to hear from our members about why they joined and why they stay

Who Should Attend?

Open Houses are designed for:

  • Prospective members – those interested in becoming investors through Golden Seeds, who are curious about Golden Seeds and our mission
  • While only accredited investors can become members of Golden Seeds, these sessions are open to anyone interested in learning more about membership
  • These sessions are not intended for entrepreneurs seeking funding. If you are an entrepreneur who would like to learn more about Golden Seeds and our funding process, refer to our Information Sessions and Office Hours

People join Golden Seeds for many reasons:

  • Ensure that worthy women-led companies receive the funding they need and the opportunity to succeed
  • Follow and learn about emerging trends and technologies across industries
