Mary McCaffrey is a Managing Director at Golden Seeds, where she is a sector leader of the technology group. Mary began her career as translator at the National Security Agency, and later as a Project Manager for many education related government grants. The majority on her career was spent on Wall Street, where she was an institutional equity analyst at Alex Brown and CJ Lawrence and partner at technology hedge fund, Camelot Capital focusing on communications, software and internet companies. Over her career she has worked with, advised and invested in companies in all stages of their life cycle: start-up, pre and post IPO, and established public companies. Not-For-Profit experience includes managing various investment, audit and finance committees at el Museo del Barrio, New York Common Pantry and currently Hot Bread Kitchen and Pro Mujer, both of which focus on women. Mary has a BA in Political Science from Trinity College, Washington, DC, and a MA, EdD and MBA from The George Washington University.
