Stephanie Hanbury-Brown
Managing Director
Stephanie Hanbury-Brown spent 20 years in financial services in Sydney, London and New York. The majority of her career was with JPMorgan where she headed several global businesses. In 2004 she founded Golden Seeds. She is also a member of New York Angels and an investor with Boldcap Ventures. Stephanie currently retains board positions with Foster Wheeler Limited, Artemis Woman and Count Me In. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
Peggy Wallace
Portfolio Manager
Peggy is an angel investor and serves as Portfolio Manager for the investments made by the Golden Seeds network. Peggy co-founded Black Dome Capital, an early stage investment firm in 2003. She has more than 20 years experience on Wall Street at JP Morgan, Salomon Brothers & XL Capital, focusing on complex financial structures, credit, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions and risk management. She serves on the corporate board of Chromis Fiberoptics and non-profit Count Me In, a micro-finance lender. Peggy is a graduate of The George Washington University.
Mirella Cicio
Investor Liaison
Mirella Cicio is the Golden Seeds Investor Liaison. She has extensive administrative experience working with senior executives in large corporations as well as sole proprietors. Before joining Golden Seeds, Mirella worked at JPMorgan Chase for fifteen years where she served as an administrator, web content manager, and expense manager in various areas, including Global Custody, Private Banking, and Equities. She graduated with honors from Grover Cleveland High School, Ridgewood, New York, and has served as a member of the Arista Honor Society. She is a licensed NYS Notary Public and is fluent in Italian.
Michelle Young
Entrepreneur Liason
A graduate of Indiana University, Michelle worked in a variety of areas in banking including mortgage and commercial loan. She left the banking field to pursue a marketing position with the cable TV industry. Marriage and children changed her career path to include many years of volunteer work in the community, schools, and church. Michelle has now reentered the workplace as the Golden Seeds Entrepreneur Liaison.
